Wind Point Products, Inc. was formed in 2000 by former employees of Johnson Worldwide Associates (JWA). JWA owned several brands of recreational products such as fishing, kayaks, tents and back pack products. Wind Point Products has since evolved into an organization with capabilities and expertise in the development and manufacturing of hard goods in Asia. Our employees have performed product design and overseas production services for: Swix Sport USA, Johnson Outdoors, Black and Decker, Necky Kayak, Leisure Life Limited, Brunswick, Snap-on Tools, Trek USA, Harley-Davidson, Artic Zone and Pure Fishing.

Wind Point Products’ staff includes two mechanical engineers, one industrial designer, one tool and model maker, and one marketing person. The staff has a combined experience level of over 50 years of new product development with more than 30 years of product development engineering. Wind Point Products can also draw upon a base of numerous experts for product evaluation and product feedback.

Wind Point Products has developed test equipment for fishing lines, rods and reels, automotive products, and hand and power tools. These test fixtures are used during the product development process to ensure that design integrity and product reliability are obtained. Wind Point Products has the knowledge and ability to test products to the industry standards whether that means ISO, JIS, ANSI, ASTM or SAE.
