Market research and competitive evaluation are also a part of this process. |

For example, testing was successfully used at Johnson Worldwide Associates, JWA, to lower the cost of quality by 30% in the year 1999.

For this reason, Wind Point Products drives the product development process through all phases of production. The project is completed once full production is stabilized. Production core competencies include: Injection molding, Zinc, Aluminum, and Magnesium die-casting, Chrome Plating, Stamping, CNC Machining and Turning and a full range of production assembly lines. |

| Postproduction, pre-delivery inspection is key to the success of overseas production. Wind Point Products has experience in developing inspection methods as well as defining and communicating to suppliers the inspection methods required to obtain minimum acceptable quality levels. Inspection is performed both before shipment and at Wind Point Products’ facilities to ensure the highest level of quality. Here new fishing reels destined for the US are inspected prior to leaving China in an enclosure specified by Wind Point Products. |
